Nas is probably my favorite hip hop artist, its too bad that hes an Obama supporter, but I myself was taken by Baracks nonsense so i should not be too critical. This is a song off of his new untitled album. There is fertile ground in the hood for our revolution. We just have to build up our arguments against Obama, and has a solid seemless rebuttal for the “Ron Paul is a racist” nonsense that the media tried to pull on us. At least we have a mutual enemy in Faux News.

I posted these comments to youtube to try and gauge reception to the Movements talking points by urban youth.

I love Nas, but I wish he could see that Obama is just another tool, the same exact thing as every other tool. Not at all worth defending. Nas puts himself out there taking a political stance, and its for a fraud like Obama?? Who voted YES on the FISA amendment?? You know who really wants to help the hood? That little old white man from Texas. They call him a racist to keep his message from penetrating in minority communities, but…
He’s the only one REALLY trying to shut down NAFTA, he’s the only one really trying to legalize and decriminalize drugs, he’s the only one talking about stopping Government theft of your hard earned money through taxation. I know Barack is Black and some people think that a Black man as President would be the crowning achievement of the civil rights movement, but I got news for you all, while you were fighting for racial equality…
they started taking away every ones rights collectively, and Barack Obama is just another tool of the international bankers choke hold on America. Civil rights is done, now its individual rights that are under attack.

A Lesson For My Fellow Revolutionaries…

When citizens rise up and threaten the establishment, the FBI is set loose like a rabid attack dog. False claims are used to fuel unconstitutional surveilence and general harassment of activists and movement leadership. Thats how it was done in the 60’s anyway. Today, they don’t even have to make the bogus claims, they can just submit a list of names to the Presidential Rubber Stamp for illegal surveilence approval. Say the wrong thing to the wrong person and you may get a free one way trip to Cubas lovely Guantanamo Bay. But I don’t aim to simply rant about how our liberties have been depleated, no, far from it! I wanna share with you a report that details the tactics the FBI used on Martin Luthor King from 1963 to 1968.

First, in order to push for permission to conduct their opperation, they manufactured and perpetuated the falacy that the civil rights movement was infiltrated by communist outsiders. From there they moved forward to outright slander.

Among the activities that stand out in my mind, especially with the Minniapolis event coming up, along with a notable spike in inflammatory behavior by obviously phony freedomlovers, was this gem.

Congressional leaders were warned “off the record” about alleged dangers posed by Reverend King. The FBI responded to Dr. King’s receipt of the Nobel Peace Prize by attempting to undermine his reception by foreign heads of state and American ambassadors in the countries that be planned to visit. When Dr. King returned to the United States, steps were taken to reduce support for a huge banquet and a special “day” that were being planned in his honor.

We are already familiar with many of the other tactics they have used. Suppression of positive media reporting, trying to coerce civil rights friendly news sources into printing attacks on King, attempts to isolate our leaders and divide our community. These are the very same tools that they used against Dr. King over 40 years ago. Their playbook lack creative revision. That is to our benefit, because we can learn, adapt, and grow to rise above their subterfuge.

Moving on. The FBI used wiretapping rigorously in Kings home, motel/hotel rooms, offices, and the offices of his closest allies. they blackmailed him, threatening to reveal details of his private life. They even went as far as to groom their own civil rights leader to take Kings place, once they destroyed his credibility. They cut off funding to labor unions, and community organizations that supported Dr. King and even tried sicking the IRS on him. The same tactic they used 20 plus years earlier on Chicago Mob Boss Al Capone.

These are just the officially accepted claims made against the FBI in the “Final Report Of The Select Committee To Study Governmental Operations With Respect To Intelligence Activities” otherwise known as The Church Committee.

I can only imagine what slipped through the cracks of an official investigation into the FBI 40 years ago, especially after witnessing in my life time the sham 9/11 investigation. The unproven claims run from arming and informing white supremacist groups to the assassination of Dr. King himself.

I would not be so paranoid as to think that the FBI is going full bore against our movement at this point in time, however I would not be so naive to think that this manner of COINTELPRO operation is not already under way to some extent within our movement.

Common Law

Common Law derives its powers from universal consent and the historical practices of the people. This legal system was developed in England and later adopted by the US. It is also known as case law and is created by judges when deciding cases.

According to the information I’ve found statutory law trumps common law, and common law only applies in the lesser courts of the same jurisdiction where the law was established.

Maybe you could use it to squeeze by in a Jury trial but its far from dependable as far as a legal defense goes. Otherwise common law is only applied when there is no statutory law addressing the nature of the case

In the case of Federal Common Law, it is only applied to Federal issues that meet the same requisites, but can also be over turned by a Congressional Ruling.

The Pitfalls of Nationalism in America

I noticed that hardly any one has mention something that our politicians are wielding more and more every day. Nationalism. Which is traditionally the hammer in the tool box of fascism.

Anyone who may be confused as to the difference between patriotism and nationalism, here is a brief explanation. Patriotism is a form of pride that stems from the individual and is attributed towards ones home land, a city, state, nation. Nationalism is an ideological political movement that strives to unite a nations population and rally them toward a cause, typically (but not exclusively) through excluding and scapegoating minorities and foreign peoples.

Seeking to unite by promoting divisive attitudes, is like spreading peace with an assault rifle. No wonder it  always falls by the wayside.

This is best evidenced in Washingtons willingness to blame illegal immigrants for the plight of America and do absolutely nothing to stop their influx or improve the citizenship process.

Another good bit of evidence is this idea that only criminals and terrorists care about liberty, freedom, and a persons God given rights. It implies that YOU are a bad guy simply for caring about liberty, and a good many tool sits and nods whenever the pundits use that argument against a freedom lover.

They are pushing to create the mindset in people that the state is all important and national identity is the most important part of self. Its just a ploy on the part of the powers that be to goad the common man into a nationalist frenzy.

Once that goal is achieved, the nation will do anything to anyone and never be wrong until the regime self implodes or until we are liberated by a foreign military force. Most likely it’ll get much worse before it gets better. Thats how its gone through out history. Who knows how our chapter in this book will read.

Next time you whipped up to a patriotic froth stop and examine the situation and your feelings about the situation and reexamine. Make sure that YOUR not being manipulated by some one, anyone, for any agenda that does not suit YOUR individual beliefs and ideology.

There is nothing to be gained from the collectivist notion of nationalism, and its probably the most dangerous pitfall for an individual who deals in the shear volume of patriotism as most us do.
